106. Samuel Kinsley (d. 1662), probable son of Stephen Kinsley

Samuel Kinsley was probably born in England. [1] He died on 21 May 1662 in Billerica. [2] He married Hannah Bracket. [3]

107. Hannah Brackett (bp. 1635–1706), daugher of Richard Brackett and Alice Blower

Hannah Brackett was baptized on 4 January 1634/5 in Boston. [4] She died on 3 July 1706 in Dunstable. She married first Samuel Kinsley. [5] She married second Deacon John Blanchard. [5] John died in 1694. [5] He married first Elizabeth Hills about 1657. [5] Elizabeth, the daughter of Joseph and Rose (Clark) Hills, was born in 1627 and died about 1662. [5]

John Bracket and Samuel Kinsley, inhabitants of Billerica, along with other inhabitants, signed an agreement on land division and rating on 24: 12: 1661. [6]

Hannah was killed by Indians, along with her children Elizabeth and Nathaniel. [5]

Inventory papers for Samuel Kinsley are dated 17 (4) 1662. His estate papers refer to two daughers, age six and seven, and a newborn son. Hannah, his widow, and her father Richard Bracket were administrators. [7]

Children of Samuel Kinsley and Hannah Bracket:

i. Daughter Kinsley [1] was born about 1655 if she was seven in 1662.

i. Elizabeth Kinsley was born on 22 November 1657. She died on 3 July 1706 in Dunstable. She married John Cummings.

iii. Samuel Kinsley was born about 1662 in Dorchester. [1] He died in 1713. [3] He married Mary, the daughter of John Washburn [1] in 1690 in Bridgewater. [3] Mary was born in 1661. [3]

Children of Deacon John Blanchard and Hannah Bracket:

i. Josiah Blanchard (twin) was born on 15 March 1665 and he died young. [5]

ii. Benjamin Blanchard (twin) was born on 15 March 1665 and was living in 1693. [5]

iii. James Blanchard was born on 10 March 1666 and he died in February 1704. [5] He married Anna Blood on 1 March 1671. [5] Anna, the daughter of Nathaniel and Hanah (Parker) Blood, was born on 1 March 1671. [5]

James was a soldier of Captain William Tyng's snowshoe company and he died of "fatigue and exposure" while serving. [5]

iv. Thomas Blanchard was born in 1668 and died on 9 March 1727 in Dunstable. [5] He married first Tabitha Lepingwell on 13 February 1688/9 in Woburn. [5] Tabitha, the daughter of Michael and Isabel Leppingwell, was born on 8 May 1661 in Woburn and died on 29 November 1696. [5] Thomas married second Ruth Adams on 4 October 1698. [5]

v. Sarah Blanchard was born in 1670. [5] She married Robert Usher on 23 January 1694. [5]

vi. Captain Joseph Blanchard was born on 1 November 1672 and died in 1727. [5] He married Abiah Hassell on 25 May 1696. [5] Abiah, the daugher of Joseph and Anna (Perry) Hassell, was born on 13 May 1673 and died on 8 December 1746. [5]

vii. Mary Blanchard (twin) was born on 23 September 1674 and married first John Derbyshire and second Nathaniel Woods. [5]

viii. Nathaniel Blanchard (twin) was born on 23 September 1674. [5] Nathaniel, his wife Lydia and his daughter, were killed by Indians, along with his mother and sepsister Elizabeth, on 3 July 1706 in Dunstable. [5]

ix. Martha Blanchard was born in 1676 and died in November of that year. [5]
